Projects and contractor references

Office, retail, institutional, industrial, mixed-use and multi-family interiors across BC's Lower Mainland — framed, insulated, boarded, taped, ceilinged and firestopped by one subcontractor.

What does each project entry tell you?

Four things, every time: the project name, the city it was built in, the type of building, and which of CCDF's six scopes we carried on it. Photos sit behind the main image — open any one to step through that project's set.

A general contractor comparing interior subcontractors is really comparing two things: whether the crew has built the kind of building you are building, and how much of the interior package they can take off your hands. Those are the two questions this page is laid out to answer. Filter the grid by project type to see the first; read the scope tags on each card to see the second.

CCDF works across six scopes — steel stud framing, insulation, drywall, taping, acoustic / T-bar ceilings and firestopping — and they can be tendered as one package or individually. Where all six are on one subcontract, the crew that lays out the wall is the crew that seals its penetrations, so there is a single party accountable from stud layout through to firestop sign-off. Where only one scope is wanted, firestopping is the one most often bought on its own, after another sub has already framed and boarded the floor.

Placeholder entries. Every card below is a template carrying sample text (“Project Name”, “City, BC”) and “photo to supply” plates in place of site photography. Replace the name, location, type and photos with a real job — then delete this notice. Nothing here represents completed work.

Can CCDF supply contractor references?

Yes — on request, matched to the sector and the scopes you are tendering. Ask with your tender package and we will send contacts from the general contractors we ran those projects for.

CCDF supplies general contractor references rather than publishing client names here: the project manager or superintendent who actually ran the job, their company, and a number they are happy to take a call on. Ask for them with your tender package and we will send references for projects in the same sector and the same scopes you are pricing — an institutional reference if you are bidding a school, a firestopping-only reference if that is all that is being bought.

Projects and scope, answered

What types of projects does CCDF work on?

Office, retail, institutional, industrial, mixed-use and multi-family buildings — new construction, tenant improvements and renovations. CCDF works for general contractors, construction managers, developers and building owners across British Columbia's Lower Mainland.

Which scopes can CCDF carry on one project?

Six: steel stud framing, insulation, drywall, taping, acoustic / T-bar ceilings and firestopping. They can be bought as one interior package or individually, and each project entry on this page lists the scopes CCDF carried on that job.

Can CCDF take only part of the interior package?

Yes. Any of the six scopes can be tendered on its own — firestopping alone is a common one, where another sub has already framed and boarded the floor. The advantage of bundling them is that one subcontractor owns the wall from stud layout through to the sealed penetration.

Can CCDF supply general contractor references?

Yes. CCDF supplies general contractor references on request rather than publishing client names on the site. Ask with your tender package and we will send references for projects in the same sector and scope you are bidding.

What area does CCDF cover?

CCDF is based at 18858 69A Avenue in Surrey, BC and works across British Columbia's Lower Mainland. Call 778-913-2235 or email info@ccfirestopping.com to check coverage for a specific site.
